QuickBooks versus Microsoft Small Business Accounting 2006

For the small business, there are several accounting packages that provide exceptional financial record keeping and reporting options. The most popular financial accounting software is QuickBooks, which boasts over 3 million users and 86% of the market. Small Business Accounting 2006 is Microsoft’s early generation product which is ideally suited for those currently using Excel and Word to maintain their business records. It also provides seamless integration with Outlook and Business Contact Manager. Peachtree and Simply Accounting are other options, but it was not my intention to compare those in this article.
