The Scholarship Foundation selects the recipients of the scholarship awards based on the completed application form. The selection is made from all forms received by August 15th for the fall semester and January 15th for the spring semester.

NEW APPLICANTS MUST:
|
|
|
- Be a Maryland resident enrolled in an accredited Maryland University, College or Community College.
- Be enrolled in a program, taking a minimum of 6 credit hours, with a major in accounting, leading to a degree or certificate.
- Maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in both accounting and overall.
- Complete the enclosed application and submit the required transcript.
- Have the department head or program director complete the verification section.
- Have completed Accounting Principles I and II.

AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP
|
|
|
- Each award of a scholarship shall be for the academic year, and paid to the institution, on a semester basis. The award shall be based on $60.00 per credit hour with a maximum of $720.00 per semester, not to exceed actual expenses. Awards are made based on the availability of funds, with a cumulative maximum of $5,760 total per student.

RENEWAL OF AWARD
|

|
- Each scholarship award must be requested for renewal on a semester basis.
- To be eligible for renewal the recipient must maintain a 3.0 grade point average both in accounting and overall and remain enrolled in an accounting program.
- Each request for renewal must be accompanied by a copy of the recipient's official transcript.
- The request for renewal must be received by August 15th for the fall semester and January 15th for the spring semester.
