Yellow Book Accounting and Audit Seminar

This session will address the requirements of GAGAS-Generally Accepted Governmental Auditing Standards - as specified in the Government Accountability Office's Yellow Book.  The review will include CPE requirements for performing governmental audits, when a Yellow Book audit is required, the the standards governing the process.  All three levels of Financial Audits, Attestation Engagements and Performance Audits will be addressed.  Particular emphasis will be placed on the recent changes in Yellow Book Standards in July, 2007.  Case studies will be used to illustrate concepts throughout.
