Q: What is the start and end time for MSA seminars?
A: The start times are as follows:
- All day seminars: 8:00 am – 4:15 pm
- Four hour seminars: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Two hour seminars: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Q: What meals are provided at the seminars?
A: MSA provides the following meals:
- All day seminars: Continental Breakfast, AM and PM Breaks and Lunch
- Four hour seminars: Lunch and PM Break
- Two hour seminars: AM Break
Q: What is the policy for inclement weather?
A: The Maryland Society of Accountants, Inc. will not cancel a seminar due to inclement/severe weather. However if there is a major emergency all attendees will be contacted by the office either by phone or email as soon as possible.
Q: What if I am unable to attend the entire time for the seminar?
A: You will receive educational credit for the time attended.
Q: Do you provide special meals for special dietary needs?
A: Yes, we can provide special meals however the requests must be made 48 hours prior to the seminar.
Q: How do I obtain CPE certificate from the seminar?
A: Five business days after the last day of the seminar, you can obtain your certificate off the MSA website (www.msacct.org). Your certificate number is located on your confirmation email or letter.
Q: What if I did not receive a confirmation letter or email, do I need it to enter the seminar?
A: No. Sometimes confirmations are lost therefore you do not need it to enter the seminar. However, if you have a question if you are registered please contact the MSA Office at 1-800-922-9672.
Q: How much time will I lose if I arrive late or leave early?
A: The license authorities will round down to the closest hour.
